Please make the kids go home :(
Horrible, horrible week. Horrid, horrid kids. This is seriously being my worst week at camp, and I'm just pleased they have 2 more nights to sleep, and then they'll be gone, and 3 more sleeps until I'm gone.
Went on a trip with my campers today. I was working with some from the other attitude who wouldn't work, said they'd do what they wanted, and just wouldn't listen to me at all, and said that he didn't need to listen to me, as I wasn't anyone to him, and it was HORRID. I ignored him for the rest of the day. Then when we got off the trip a load of the kids were playing Rock Band in the dining hall and they were all "Why do they get to do FUN things? I hate it here can't we just go in there?" So I absoloutely shouted at him that there's things I'd rather be doing but I can't, and to just deal with it. I'm sure I put it more politely than that, but I was seriously seeing red with the kids today. I had to sit aside and count to 10 before I could get back to work. I did it yesterday too, with a girl who was moaning at me that she didn't have any time to work out her dance number for the talent show. It's not MY problem she didn't look at the song list the day it was put up! SHE left it til the last minute, not me! Grrr.
Sorry. I really needed to rant. And Vanessa seems so, so long away still. Wednesday left today, which is really sad. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye, though. But on a good note, my secret buddy got me a book about manatees. Yay.
Dad: Mum has all my flight details, so ask her. I can't remember them exactly at the moment, and I'm too tired to log in and check. And Jonas Brothers are pretty good, they sing some Busted songs, but their original songs are pretty good. Really, they're a lot like McFly.
Mum: That hotel looks fine. Had to change the password again though, as I forgot it. Sorry.

Another Miserable Week
And not just because it's raining. Again. (Yes, I've noticed all I tell you about is when it's raining, but to be honest, it's the most exciting thing that happens)
We're in Operation Purple Week. And I hate it, it's horrible. No-one knows what they're doing, and the people who do know, aren't telling. Things are getting cancelled at a moments notice, and the news that things have been cancelled go around like whispers and rumours. The staff on the whole are nice, or at least the one I'm in a cabin with is nice, but some really need to be more enthusiastic. I keep getting to my breaks late as schedules change, or we're late getting to places. I'm with a group of kids who do samples of all programmes, and the boys are fast losing interest. And the girls in my sleeping unit complain about everything, mainly that they can't stay and watch the boys play soccer, and that they have to wear sneakers, and that they have to clean. All I have to say is tough luck, you're doing it anyway lol.
Counting down the days to Pennsylvania now, which is exciting. The campers are sleeping another 4 nights, and then it's Saturday evening, where we do cleaning, and then I leave on Sunday, weee! I will miss camp, but since going to the concert on Saturday (which was AMAZING! Seriously. I have pictures *cough*andsomevideo*cough*. I will share, as I'm sure Sam wants me to) I REALLY just want to get travelling.

I don't have anything to say
I'm writing this just to write something, really. Nothings happened over the last few days. The kids are sleeping through the night now though, so that's good, and I got to sleep in until 7 o clock.
I still don't know what I'm doing next week, though, but apparently you get to choose, so I'm going to do that after my break is over. I'm excited for Saturday, but very nervous about it at the same time.
We were supposed to be playing paint your counsellor yesterday, but it rained so it got changed. So I didn't get painted, though I was supposed to. Tomorrow is the last day of normal camp, so we have our big camp fire and our Hootananny tonight. And of course the party, but shh :p.
Am pleased this weeks over. I'm totally drained. I need some Jonas Brothers. Now.

More rainfall
Wah, it's so wet here again. My group are in archery (outside) at the moment, and are going swimming straight after. Yeah...good luck to them. Things are going okay, I guess. Some slight clashes, but nothing to make too much of a fuss about (Except when I call my mum, but that's different)
I have 17 girls, one is a girl from last session who irritated everyone, and she doesn't like me, which is nice. They're putting on a show of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and it's going well at the moment.
I just got a gift from my secret buddy, though. A high school musical folder, yay. Am so upset I'm missing the staff banquet, but I'll be on my way to Pennsylvania then, so that's a good thing. I'd only end up feeling left out, but it would be nice to see all the secret buddy gifts people are giving. Oh well. Apparently that's when yearbooks and staff hoodies are handed out, but hopefully an exception will be made for the early leavers.
I don't have anything else to say really. Other than the fact I got covered in cream on Sunday night, and will probably be covered with paint on Wednesday night. Fun-ness.

Tried to keep myself away
It didn't work, as I'm really bored. We're only supposed to go onto the computer every other day, but I don't see a problem with using it when others aren't here on days off. Of course, if this entry suddenly stops, you'll know it's because someone threw me off for being on here for too long, or someone needed to use it.
Spent yesterday sleeping a lot of the time, talked to Sam for a while, called home, got called by home, then the computer some more. Willow took me out to get pizza and hot chocolate in the evening, and we sat and watched Just My Luck. It never fails to make me smile. Ah, Hammersmith Apollo :).
Another bored day off. Slept in until 8:30, but then Womble, Tornado and Twilight came in to move their stuff into the unit, and I couldn't get back to sleep after that. I've moved my holdall and my backpacks up to Wildwood now, but I need to find a trolley or cart of some sort to move my box up there (there is NO way I'm carrying it all the way up there again.)
I got more information on Operation Purple yesterday. Apparently it operates more like most summer camps do. That made no sense to me, either. There's going to be all camp events every night, and not all of us are going to be in the units, some will be scattered around. They bring their own staff, too, so personally I'd rather not be in the units if I have to share a cabin with strangers. Even worse, guys. There's boys there too, so it'll be strange getting used to having boys as campers as well as girls. I have a feeling it's going to be the most demanding, though. A bunch of girls are still trying to pretty themselves up for the army men. I'm not bothering myself.
Vicky: Just emailed you. Sorry I didn't do it before, but I have about 10 pages of emails to read through whenever I log on.

Stressful Days
The kids have departed! Woohoo! I'm really happy about it, as by the end of the week everyone was snapping at eachother, and snapping at the kids, and the last day was just full of tension.
Got my unit assignment for next week...You'll never guess where I'm going back to...WILDWOOD! Yes, the bags all need to get dragged the long way up to Wildwood again, the early mornings will be happening again, and we also have a LOT of kids. Chances are, I'll never remember all their names. I'm back on Theatre in the Woods, as that's what I requested, so I'm happy. One of the girls from my last unit is coming back for it, too, so I'll know at least one person.
My day off was a little, well a lot crazy. I got to the mall fine, but then when it came to coming home, I got on the bus going the wrong way. So I got off, dashed across the road as I was scared about getting run over, then I got the right bus. But then, when I got to CCRI, where I needed to catch the bus back to camp, I got another bus going the wrong way and ended up on the freeway going towards the bus station. Then I had to wait about an hour for another bus, but I did get back safely, with no tears! I think I lost a bag or an item along the way, but it was a plate and a cup, so no big loss really.
We had a staff party last night. I felt left out for a lot of it, but I tried to enjoy myself again near the end, and it worked a little. I drank punch all night, ate ribs, and made inappropriate jokes at Reggie's expense (She so wanted the whole table). I borrowed a camera and put my memory card in, so I got some pictures. This is because my new camera has broke, so I'm not a happy bunny at all. :(
Going to the mall today. A different one, and with people, so I won't get lost. Promise.
